EN 1149-5 Combinaisons de protection contre l'éclair d'arc et les flammes

EN 1149-5 is a European standard that covers performance requirements for protective clothing in the event of electrostatic discharge. Therefore, arc flash and fire-resistant coveralls complying with the EN 1149-5 standard are anti-static. These work clothes often use special materials or treatments to reduce static electricity build-up and reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge. This type of work clothes is typically used in jobs where it is necessary to prevent electrostatic discharge from causing harm to the surrounding environment or work items, such as petrochemical industry, electronic manufacturing and dust explosion hazardous environments. Work clothing that complies with the EN 1149-5 standard provides the wearer with safe protection in these environments.
