SCBA Cylinders -The cylinder shall be aluminium lined, fully wrapped carbon composite material and basicalfy approved to EN 12245 & CE marked. The weight of the cylinder when fully charged shall not be more than 6.8Kg. The carbon composite material air cylinder shall have a minimum water capacity of 6.8 liters and free air capacity of mln. 1850 liters when filled at a pressure of 300 bar.

The test pressure shall be 1,5 times the working pressure. It shall contain OEM name and CE marked on it. Life of the cylinder shall be minimum 15 years.

The cylinders shall be tested at authorized lab and test certificate shall be sent along with the supply. The cylinder shall be approved by CCOE (Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur) and certificate to that effect shall be submitted along with the tender. Without the approval of CCOE for the cylinder, the tender will be rejected out rightly.

The cylinder shall be supplied with valve made from nickel plated brass and shall comply with EN 144 - 2 & CCE approved.

Valve hand wheel shall be suitably located with safety locking system such that it cannot be closed inadvertently during the use and can be turned on using one hand. Cylinder Valve shall be equipped with excess flow valve.
